Ann Bartholomew is a macroeconomist who specialises in Public Financial Management, aid effectiveness and international trade issues. She has more than fifteen years' experience undertaking consultancy and development work in the Pacific, Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe. She has wide ranging consulting experience covering design missions, programme reviews, and evaluations, provision of economic policy advice and development of sector strategies. Her more recent work has focused on evaluations of general and sector budget support. The design and implementation of medium-term expenditure frameworks, sector plans for health and also reviews of donor programs and assessments of aid effectiveness.
