Catherine Dom specialises in public sector resource management and sector and thematic policy development with a focus on aid management, public finance, decentralisation and education. She has twenty years' experience working in both long-term and consultancy positions for aid agencies, businesses and national governments. She has country experience in Africa, South-East Asia and the Caribbean. Catherine is currently involved in a PhD research project looking at “Competing ideals of development and governance in three rural communities in Ethiopia”. She is keen to use the expertise that she has acquired on issues of governance and rural livelihoods to widen the scope of her consutancy work.
