Trish Silkin is a specialist in governance and social development with more than 30 years of overseas experience, including 7 years resident and working overseas in Lebanon, Sudan and Eritrea, 10 years UK-based management experience and 15 years as a consultant with experience in East and Southern Africa, the Middle East, South-East Europe and Afghanistan. She is an expert in poverty-related policy analysis and development; governance specialisms include civil society development, human rights and democratisation. She has extensive evaluation experience and particular experience of countries affected by or emerging from conflict and and has advised bilateral and multilateral donors and NGOs on more strategic approaches to support for human rights and democratisation.
